WDID? Passed my interview for college, start in september :)

OK, i just measured my rear of my car, and my alignment seems to be out by about 3-4 mm, in that my boot lid is out by 3 mm one side but slightly over on the other side, same as the bumper, also one wheel seems to be the same out on the driver side, ie further into the arch than the passenger...

Again, not Micra related as such, but got a conditional offer from college for my mechanics course, got my interview on the 3rd of June. I'll prob be older than the lecturer lol

Is it ok/safe/recommended to take out the mesh and plastic mesh insert in the throttle body? I have taken mine out and the thick plastic one to increase flow as it seemed to cut off prob 1/3 of the throttle body. Should have said these have been out for months now, so cant see as it would hurt

Not so much Micra related, but found out today my mother in law will fund my Motor Mechanic course at college, gonna be the oldest student on my course at 36. Its a level 2 course, so no Gov funding for me till i go onto lvl 3, then the Gov will pay for it, happy days

i would too mate, i got a RR event next month, so i will take both decats and see how they do, i aint expecting major things, maybe 1-2 hp between the 2, but prob 5 bhp over a catted system. Its the response between gear change you can feel the difference, so its more real world than rolling road

The matrix on the CGA one did seem tighter than the CG one, also seemed to get a bigger bag of metal and ceramic from the CGA cat than the CG cat, but both are now hollow, i did find that the CGA decat does give better throttle response, and even more at high revs, seems to get a new lease of...

Fitted my CGA primary decat, and there is a slight increase in throttle response over the CG decat i had before, not much but enough. Sounds more raspier too :)

Cheers for that Enuo, i am not expecting a massive increase in performance or responsiveness, but would i be right in thinking that at a high flow rate this would negate the choke affect caused by the final size of the exhaust? So at high rpm with the constant flow at high ish pressure this...

Well i have a CG modded mani and at the moment access to a CG cat, CG decat, CGA decat, and CGA cat, running into a PL/sportex system. I am not an engineer but from what i can gather, a bigger longer decat after the mani, than standard, would increase the venturi effect as more gas could build...

I was thinking the same, but unless its tried we will never know :) just a shame i dont have access to a dyno to test them back to back

Ok, so I am gonna go the corsa rear shock route with 05 matiz rear springs to drop the rear, I know I need M10 bolts, but what length do I need? I got a box full of M10's but the longest is 70mm, this gonna be long enough? I am gonna do alto springs on the front so this should give me a 50mm...
