Clearance volume is the space enclosed by the piston and the cylinder head at TDC, also called the volume of the combustion chamber, sorry its how its been drummed into us at college :)

45's are indeed better, just got a set of Nexen N6000 in 45 profile for 200 quid fitted, they are so much more sure footed in corners, and my speedo is now almost spot on compared to the 50 series i had before, they got some good reviews online too, not bad for a budget tyre.

I thought i saw somewhere that Ed can remap the 1.4 ecu, but wasnt sure what was involved in that and if the daughterboard was needed, getting close to fitting my turbo setup, so, would be good to know, if its not needed then i might be able to get it remapped locally, ie at college by my tutor :)

I thought the CGA flywheel had a crank position sensor and CG's didnt, so cant easily use the CG fly on the CGA. frank may be a better help on this one
