Thats fine, any cable can be used to earth it better. As for a booster any car acessories shop that stock autoleads adaptors should stock them I think the part # is PC5-91. That failing I have them in stock if you need one. I use them alot for Audi's and vw's.

A bad aerial earth can be the cause of a poor reception. This very common on nissans especially almeras and primeras. Sometimes replacement radios won't even power up due to the poor earth to the radio. I would recommend running a new earth direct from the body to the rear of the radio. Or...

I've thought about doing this when my k10 is finished as my next project. I'd make it mid engined, mount engine in the back off of a roll cage. less structural work only to mount hubs and letting the drive shafts out. Gear linkage can be made cable shift. Sounds so simple doen't it!

I refitted fuel tank tonight, pulled engine and box back out and finished welding on the mount. I tried to putting in patch piece but all i did was blow holes. But tacked in for now make it look pretty later. fillers and paint will hide alot.

I'm using a 2.0 calibra pump. I used same on my vtec mini it's gravity fed and handy to fit anywhere under the car. I'll post pics when its fitted.
