Had a ride out today with a buddy, to a few scrapyards, I only saw 1 prefacelift K11, they are becoming rare, probably mechanical bits wont be an issue for years but interior parts will be. Im seriously thinking of buying another scruffy K11 as a spares car.

Yep K10 and K11 Micras rust, badly in some cases.

I didn't say it was the pump, I just said was something to consider.

I maybe wrong but it could be a symptom of a failing pump, ive known in extreme cases for the impeller , or blade to disintegrate, yet the pump shows no outword sighns or makes any noises. Just a thought

If it has a sunroof pay attention to the back of the sills, as the sunroof drains out into the sills and they rot out at the back. As above front crossmember and under the rear bumper box section can rot.
