ye, i might just leave it, like i said its nothing bad, are you running the 1.0 box or 1.3?

mines the nats one... its not bad its just every so often it will miss a beat or you will put your foot down and it just stutters for a split second befor it goes... does yours run smoothly?

i have just put a 1.3 engine in my 1.0 used the 1.0 gearbox and ecu (1.0 engine is for sale by the way!)... every so often the engine kind of misses a beat (not bad) so i thought i would try putting a 1.3 ecu in to see if it cured it but the car wouldn't start and the 'check' light on the dash...

i have just done this (1.3 with 1.0 box) and it works rly well! excellent up hills and way better accelleration! :D

i dont know exactly... i would imagine top speed is about the same... will cruze nicely at about 80mph but acceleration and pull up hills is like 3 time better! :)

i just put a 1.3 in my 1.0 and put a janspeed manifold on and it makes a big differance, im running my 1.0 box and ecu at the moment and it all works fine! :)

i just got hold of a janspeed 4-2-1 exhaust manifold but what gasket should i use?will a standard one or will that not do?? cheers

i currently have a 98 facelift 1.0 and im going to put a 1.3 in it, am i better off keeping the 1.0 gearbox or swapping for the 1.3? also which other parts need to be changed when doing the conversion? cheers
