Hi, the problem could be with the IPDM (the thing under near side headlamp) or with the BCM

Try disconnecting the battery for minute or so then reconect with doors shut and the keys outs, lock and unlock the car then try, if that not work email me back

check see if the boot as popped open

you may have problems with recoding secondhand keys as I'm sure they need be virgin keys

to get a true battery drain reading from a K12 you need shut all doors lock the vehicle and without removing power from the car take the reading 15minute after locking it us as you need give it time for the bcm and ipdm to full shut down into sleep mode you will be after reading less than 0.02

Yep you definalty have to at the least recode the keys again

It is poss to diagnos and switch off airbag light without the use of any diagnostic equipment just by turning the ignition in a set sequence and reading the flash code of airbag light, there is also a fix for the seat connectors that seams to sort it for good

I beleave that the keys have to be blank, once coded to a car its not possible with nissan consult to be reprogramed to another car

It does sound very much like Timing chain, I can get it replaced for £450 parts and labour, diagnostic work also using nissan diagnostcs, I'm based in the west midlands
