dizzy would be where I would start, not sure what $$$ they are worth but heat does funny thing with elctronics. Does the engine just 'cut out' or does it stumble and die? could be fuel too.

i don't think the micra would have a oil pressure gauge sender from factory (no oil pressure gauge on dash). You'll need to get a sandwhich plate for the oil filter to give you a sender input location. Did the gauge come with a sender?

i thought that, but the haynes doesn't say anything, and the way the hub bolts on its not rotating so I don't see the need for a left hand thread. I did try a few strikes to the left in the hope of it being left handed or at least jaring it free but no joy.
