    yep, 1.6, AD18V model (the basic one for a micra), the AD18V doesn't mean anything for parts, but its easy to identify when you go to the wreckers. I think the N14 I pulled mine off was a 96 model. Either way, N14 with 16DE engine and AD18V stamped on the brakes and your home free :) Picked up...

    Hey Guys, Just finished fitting N14 brakes to my micra, what a difference! I put on RDA Slotted rotors with EBC Kevlar Black pads, everything bolted up perfectly, used 1.62mm washers and everything lined up. I also rebuilt the calipers (thanks nsm + my mate who rebuilt them lol). Took it out...

    i think they key is no high pressure water, I use a hose with a sprinkler gun on the end make sure to do 'sweeps' accross the engine bay with soft water

    I forgot to add the degreaser part, you can use normal spray can degreaser, but I buy the big 4L containers, put that in the spray pack then spray the whole engine bay. The hit it with the truck wash, then rinse out with water. You'll have to use a rag to get some of the stubborn dirt loose...

    Come across it in a few searches, I believe the VN cat is a pretty good fit. (Never tried it myself though)

    I clean mine all the time, go down to repco/autobarn/supercheap and pick up some CT18 Truck wash. I use a pump pressure pack, mix it up, spray the engine bay, wait a few minutes then spray down with a low pressure hose. I usually stuff a rag into the air intake to protect it. Start the car...

    yeah just sorted mine out with a local shop, system is being built up in a few weeks. I picked up GTRHOLIC's Impul Extractors/Front pipe over the weekend :D, will cost $350 to install and complete the system with muffler and cat included (plus stainless tip :) )
