Yeah, was one of those things, needed some equipment transferred in a hurry (work for emergency services) and it was late in the arvo, we sent two boxes, 1 made it, the other didn't. Luckily the one that made was the expensive one at $60k+.

Don't know of a way to stop the locking thing its a safety feature so you don't lock your keys in the car. Thats not a problem for central locking though, the solenoid just won't lock that door if its open, simple. Probably not a good thing to keep locking it with the door open, may burn the...

did you cover the air intake? (Pod filter?)

if its a battery backup alarm, cut the cables and dunk it in a bucket of water, that will shut it up and kill it lol.

yep, had it happen on my Z31 300ZX, and a mate of mine as well, was a common problem with them, haven't heard of it in the micra's though!

glad i went impuls then they are thick as!

i tried to find them locally but no joy, they look like a good system though. I ended up going with impuls and a custom rear section

yeah, correct, because the AC pipe hits it, but if you nudge the AC pipe a bit? Anyone that has hurricanes can confirm? I also had to space out the alternator bracket about 20mm as well. Matt

Haha, i bent the AC pipe, not the extractors, no way i'd even consider doing that :P

I fitted a set of impul extractors to mine last week, it did hit the AC, but a few light taps to the pipe and it was clear :)

Heat soak into the electrical components? Leads? Plugs? Start there and chang em out
