pod filter isn't illegal, but it does need to be in a enclosed space separated from the engine bay to make it legal.

yeah they do the steelmate brand, i've used them a couple of times, just make sure to get the 'heavy duty' kit as the standard one is crap.

they sell sets on ebay, i'm sure they have green, i bought a blue set for my micra. There is an adjust nob on the left hand side from memory, but yeah, once you put LEDs never look back (and the adjustment nob doesn't work with leds as they need a set voltage)

no probs, sounds reasonable with labour. Surprised it went at 125k though, i'm at 320k and still going as far as I know lol. P.S. Yes the fuel filter is a PIA to get off lol. Seems to be a thing with nissans, had to do my skyline as well, got the ****s and just cut the tubing off, replacing it...

Sounds like fuel, if you have spark then gotta be fuel. Can you hear the fuel pump start when you turn the ignition on? When was the last time you changed fuel filter?

looks in pretty good nick, how long since a/c has been disconnected?
