I got my old Z resprayed for $800 and that was after I fully prepped the body. I also provided paint and primer, it was a backyard shed job so looked pretty good but to a pro you could see some small blemishes. Pic after bodykit was fitted:

with the rear of the car up in the air, can you tap the wheels (firmly) and get the rattle? Check the bottom of the struts, there is a bolt that holds them in to the bottom of the bracket that when compressed won't move about but when its up in teh air (ie, going over bumps) it will bang...
