lol burfy yeh my mates all say I'll wreck my car fast cos I rev the nuts off it. 1 year and no problems, k&n filter really does make a differance :P it's not in my head... honest :down: .

Personally I'm gonna push my 1.0 as far as it'll go, an engine switch seems like giving in :). Also you might as well just get the 1.3 car instead of the 1.0 :P.

If it's cut infront of the filter by-passing it then it's sure to improve performance but destroy the engine. If it's cut the other side of the filter it's dragging in hot and dirty air I'd assume. Not 100% cos I'm a newb but logically :P.

Well upto now it's just got a k&n replacement filter, hoping to debadge it also, but 1st going to mod the airbox when I can get to a scrappy. Then just general performance improvements when I can drag the cash together, hoping to get some decals made too :). But Uni work is priority at the...

The people who wait till the last minute to run out into the road, or the people who walk really slowly (not even old or disabled) accross the road, instead of using the not too distant zebra crossing or pedestrian lights and shout at you if you brake hard and beep them -_-. They annoy me..

I believe it's because the resistance is lower so the chip that makes them flash runs faster it's nothing to do with the ECU I don't think. The resistor idea sounds sensible if I am correct but I'm no electrician :P.

Sorry to bump this topic, but I just fitted my replacement K&N filter. It's alot smoother at lower revs and makes a cool noise when you rag it :D, it's certainly alittle faster... or maybe I just hope :P. Next... airbox mod, on the subject of which anyone got any photos of a modded airbox? Thanks.

Yeh I would have thaught so too, I believe I'm thinking of OLD OLD amps... :doh: Also 120mm fans look huge and noisy but they are quiet and shift alot of air, I decided to use them in my latest pc and it's very very cold and quiet.

IIRC Amps run better when they are hot, but I'm not familiar with car amps do they get THAT hot?

How many miles on the manifold (if it's still available)? Pardon my new-ness but to connect this to a standard k11 I'd need a full new exhaust system at the back wouldn't I? Thanks. (guessing it's 90MM Round?)
