    Hi i am having this problem with my micra the speedo is erratic some time it reads normanl some time, say the car is travaling at 50km/h, the speedo reads 100km/h (doubles the actual speed) some time triples? some how there is a factor to the speedo reading. the speedo needel moves...

    i just bought the micra, and not too famnilir with the mechanics. the fan/alternator belt is slipping when the car just started, and the squeaking goes away after drving for a while. i think it needs to be tightend, can some one tell me how to go about it, i assume there is a belt tensioner?
