It's odd how some pumps seem to work fine without cutting out. The ones at Asda in Thurmaston do (though I normally avoid that globe-consuming conglomerate :p). The design of pumps must have changed since the early days of the K11 (and K10) ;) BG

That reminds me of the fault I had on an ancient Nissan Sunny I had in Kenya a couple of years ago. The rear lights and dash lights didn't work, neither did the sidelights I think. Only standard and high beam did. The brake lights were OK and I don't think a fog light was fitted. Had it looked...

It's an improvement on the frog-eye K12 IMHO (sorry K12 owners) though the K12 is growing on me a bit I have to say. Mind you, I wasn't too struck on the K11 when it first appeared, having been used to the boxy shape of the K10. :) BG

If it's wheel bearings it'll sound like stones in a metal hubcap. My K10 did, before I had the bearings replaced :) BG

It could be coming from the spare wheel holder, where you've kept the can .. er .. compost :D BG

The pumps which don't do this are in the minority unfortunately. After trial-and-error, on the K10, I found that rotating the nozzle clockwise by about ⅛ of a turn usually worked, but the K11 (mine's a K-reg) is a lot worse in this respect, maybe because the fuel cap can not be opened wide...

Do you have a multimeter by any chance? If you're sure the earth connection is OK it could be a break in the copper track on the plastic film which counts as a circuit board for the dash. I assume late facelift re the electronic speedo? ;) Could be one of the 3 connector plugs behind the...
