Mine's got moss growing on it as well, so it seems this si a common issue. I don't think it actually lives on the rubber itself, more likely it feeds off the dirt which builds up and the water which sits around the seal. In any case, I'm going to find out when I have a go at cleaning it tomorrow...

I'm also interested in doing this. Would larger wheels give significantly better handling? I would also imagine the performance at higher speeds will be improved as it reduces the RPM (and brings the engine closer to its power band). However, the speedo will need calibrating accordingly? BG

Does anyone know the beam angle? My missus bumped mine recently and although I'm replacing the headlights anyway (bottom of reflector is rusted on both) I now have no reference for the passenger side since it's been knocked out of alignment. TIA BG
