Disappointed... after fitting the 185/60R14 wheels, the car feels really slow and heavy. I guess the weight of the 14" alloys must be so much more than standard steelies. Extra unsprung weight... no good... Will have to come up with something else. Smaller tires, or some other rims. Sendt fra...

Yeah. Car lokks really nice and clean. Just lower it, and the wheels will suit it just fine for the time being. :)

I've been using 5W/40 for the engines for ages. Relatively cheap and full synthetic.

No, I think they're usually just called FR 78 X, but some places use that other number. :)

FR 78 X / 0 242 232 502 - try and search for these Bosch numbers. Those are the ones you'll need.

Last week I discovered this mailorder supplier. Very decent prices on well known brands (Bosch, MANN, Valeo etc.), standard spare parts for most cars. They're located in France, but have a danish, german, english etc. site. I ordered 4 spark plugs (Bosch) at a very good discounted price...

Some guys have put the GA15 throttle body on their CGXX engines. Maybe that could give a little extra? It's a straight fit, with a larger diameter.

Changed the thermostat, and filled the new Micra with fresh coolant. Changed the bulbs in the instruments. Took it for a spin. :cool:
