Do a charge test measure batt voltage with no load so no head lights stereo wipers etc then turn everything on from air con to demister and check should be around 14.2-14.6 v

This sounds really good for a boot lock for instance :)

I'm not on about flat spots I mean on a flat road at two 2k foot to floor starts to die it will not continue to climb revs it only looses them
