    Sr20Det - FS

Do you ship to canada? :wasntme: I would definately love to have your car... But honestly, I'm not even going to look into how much it'll cost to fly/sail a car overseas no matter how light the Micra is :( I reallllllllly do want it though

    K10 Ga16 Convertion

So could you make me a list to perform this conversion? I'm thinking of getting a ga16de from the scrap for $300 CAD low mileage! So from what I've seen the main thing you had to do was modify the engine mounts. Do you have to upgrade suspension/brakes/rad ? I'm probably going to keep the fuel...

    Full Synthetic and other questions

Yea, I was certainly aware of this and took the chance. I've kept a very close eye on the pan and checked for puddles and so far it seems I'm in the clear. Unless you're saying that it'll create holes elsewhere that will cause problems (other then oil being able to leak onto the ground) I wasn't...

    Full Synthetic and other questions

Hello all, another couple of questions for everyone:wasntme: I just recently got 5w-30 full synthetic oil... I'm not sure what my car thinks of it though... It seems to be VERY lazy in the lower rpm band where before it was not... When it was idling (at about 700rpm) and I gave it the SLIGHTEST...

    Funny Game Review!

    Cold K10

Case closed. It was the throttle return spring!! Oh well, I learned a lot about carbs in the process of all this lol... If anyone is idling high, check/replace the throttle return spring!! Peace :grinning:

    Cold K10

Yea it's not the choke plate... It's something to do with the accelerator arm... Today I took a hack saw and put a notch in the accelerator arm hoping that by stretching the spring further down the arm it would give it more leverage and push it down... It dropped my idle 200 rpm, but I'm still...

    Cold K10

Been a while since I've been here haha... Couple updates of my findings, and a few more questions too! First, I figured out why my car was shuddering slightly whenever I shifted, it was lack of power from the engine... I got a new air filter, oil change and now I've added cold air intake, and it...

    Air intake

Ok so I took bob's advice and I scrapped the idea of chopping up my bonnet, and running some dryer ducting from the bumper area  I'll post some pictures soon so everyone can have a good chuckle haha Even though it may not look professional, I definitely noticed that the engine felt...

    Worst luck ever?!!

Now you got me shaken up lol... I got mix and match stuff, totals to about £150 and it didn't cost me a penny in labour since I did it myself... Sorry to hear about your losses m8... None the less I'd rather my stuff stay in my boot O.o Would creating a custom box for the subs and bolting it to...

    Air intake

Ok, I just need a couple more people to confirm that so I can show the folks in charge :glare:

    Air intake

Alright lol... So moving past the water considering we got past that 4 posts ago :wasntme: , how about adjustments that need to be made? If the carb gets too much air at once will it stall or damage the carb or engine? I'm trying to convince my parents that it won't blow up my car lol...

    Air intake

Mmmk, so I've got myself a home-made scoop... Now my big question is, if I were to hook that baby right up to the carb, would I have to adjust the air/fuel mixture? And if not, would it put any more strain on the system? Thanks!

    Rewiring the engine bay?!

Well I think the lowest we got before it stopped working was around -35Cish? So I guess it makes sense that SOMETHING froze lol.. At first I thought that all the snow in the engine bay was shorting it out somewhere... I didn't even THINK of looking at the carb throat :glare: I'll know for next...

    Rewiring the engine bay?!

Well apparently fuel can freeze at temperatures below -15C (can anyone confirm that?) but just recently I ran a carb cleaner solution that also claimed it got rid of moisture in the fuel tank and lines, so I would've thought water wouldn't have caused it to freeze O.o
