Yea, this has happened a lot to my k10.. I'm just waiting for one of my arches to shatter on someone haha.. It'll cost them an arm and a leg to replace considering I live in Canada, and the closest 2dr parts car is in another province hahaha

Check every earth cable in your car.. alternator, battery, chassis, etc.. Apparently 4 gauge is the best for these applications and obviously make sure that the place you're grounding to is clean and free of paint.

Nice to hear everything has worked out in the end.. Buy a K10.. Much less to go wrong, and if something goes wrong, it's a ridiculously easy locate and fix :wasntme:

I'm 99% sure I'm getting a parts car!! It comes with an engine with 170k and new timing belt.. Plus everything else I could ever want.. All for $325 (CND).. SOOO considering I'll be doing MAJOR work on my Micra (aka engine swap) I'll probably invest in a membership and spam the living crap out...

I'd still take manual over auto.. When auto starts to malfunction you get worried for your bank account.. If manual malfunctions you know it's just the dumbass driving it :P Plus you can do a WHOLE lot more with manual: Burnouts, redline, safely slow yourself down with your tranny rather than...

That would be the synchronizers working :) I've made it (from a rolling start) from gear 1 to gear 5, and then all the way back to gear one with out using the clutch grr It wasn't the smoothest ride, but I can say I successfully did it lmao I didn't grind any gears fyi.. I must say, shifting up...

My car has a new nickname.. It's the black cat... Simply because it's black, but it also seems to have multiple lives haha.. I've overheated it twice now, the head gasket has been shot for over 2 months now.. The wiring is corroded to hell.. It just doesn't give up!! I love my Micra :blush:

haha, do you see the gap between the rad and the hose? I did cut it back to try and cover the gash that formed.. It COMPLETELY separated.. I think it was because of the extreme amount of stop leak I introduced to the system :confused: I could cut the hose with normal scissors.. So needless to...

I've definitely clocked over 300 miles one way (it was a two-way trip) and my Micra loved it! There's no harm in tossing in some carb-cleaner while you do your trip too :) It's best if you can run that stuff through continuously rather than little spurts at a time... I find the acceleration...
