Just working my way through the members pics and saw a black K10 i think it was with bucket seats. Im guessing they are standard as the have the same pattern as door cards and rear seat?

I think it depends on age, i changed the MAF sensor which was about 12 quid iirc, i have a 2000 model and the MAF is seperate to the throttle body and a quick change with 2 screws. I think on the older model it may be a part of the throttle body but i cant confirm that.

Throttle body issues or mass air flow sensor failing? Both very common problems.

Im liking that lucifer, how much did you pay for the discs and is that green stuff pads as i need an upgrade soon. Dont know if its the pic, but if you give the drums a spray i did mine with hamerite satin to keep it factory and they come out great, kept the calipers silver also for a factory...

Thats interesting mate, i sometimes have issues getting into 3rd and 1st while on the move. I have no idea on what the linkage is and how it wears or if its a serviceable part, but will read up on the intrawebnet and my manual:D

Could be any number of things from what i read here and on the web, MAF may have packed up, throttle body may be playing up or as frank said on the clutch change something may have been knocked. Find a mate with an OBD reader and see what the code is, or pop in to a small local garage and bung...

Have you moved the gearstick while it makes the buzzing and had no difference in sound? Personally i think the spring is way too small to make any proper buzzing, that would be more of a rattle and at all times. I only get the buzzing in 5th when pushing it on the mway, when i decelerate it...

With the money and effort put into that i would do a wet sand on it to lose the orange peel that cant be avoided these days with the eco paints :mad: Being a keen detaler it may just be me that picks things up like that, but if its going to be a show car it will need it along with proper wash...

No, i undid the heatshiel do cure the spring in neutral a while back, spring is fine. Having said that a couple of heatshield bolts threaded and the shield rattles, will heat silicon it firm again just to check.

Thats a dam good price from what my mechanic says, rears are easy, fronts a bit harder.

Sounds like the relentless amount of throttle body issues, poor fueling when its needed, it is a known problem, depending on the age there are a few options to try. Cheapest is to replace the MAF, cleaning of the TB and Bosch idle control valve if fitted, or pop to a scrappy and take your luck...

Drivers side pad is sticking and has warped the disc, if i brake on the motorway then drive off it feels like my tires are 50p bits:eek: untill the pad releases. Does the calipers just need a good clean and some copper grease or are they fooked? Where can i buy a set of decent grooved discs to...
