I'm not sure. It must be good value for money and hold it's resale value. I've been looking at second hand all aluminium ones for under £50. Yeah I keep bidding on a few, hoping to bag some cheap ones to try. It's getting the pipework to fit too without it getting complicated and expensive.

Yeah I keep looking back at yours, looks decent and should work with mine. But I've not seen an intercooler like it thats within my budget. Some cars come with twinpass intercoolers which would be similar, but the smallest one I tried was too big.

That's a MR2 intercooler that has been modified to suit iirc. I may try and find an alternative. But even then it's quite a lot of pipework and a lot of which runs over the turbo, mani and head warming the air up again.

It's hard to tell really, there's not much room between radiator and bumper to include a bend on the intercooler itself. This is my kit in it's previous incarnation btw.

I imported some of this for use on a uni project a year ago (about £24 for 2x 400ml cans at the time iirc). I've used some left over on some plastic interior panels too, as regular paint for plastic cracked. Result isn't bad, will bend and flex well but contact with anything sharp can split it...

I've made a cheap catch can out of a plastic bottle after spotting a little splatter of oil near breather. But it wasn't needed as it's gathered nothing at all over the last week. The fitting on the cam cover connecting to the inlet mani is a one-way restriction valve so they won't be that much...

it pulls quite well. 0-60mph through the gears is about 12 seconds with just 1psi, which isn't bad, I think. Acceleration above 50mph is a lot better now too. It'll be fairly rapid at high rpm once I have this fuelling sorted and get wider tyres to stop the wheelspin in 1st n 2nd gears. But...

yeah I agree it's the best location for them imo, worth the extra work than dash pods. just wish the wideband surround wasn't so big. What's people thoughts about the location of the heater control panel, I was going to go for glovebox but I don't think the vent cable or loom will reach :(
