the earth for most nissan cars is the ariel for the radio, if that isnt pluged in correctly at the back of the head unit then it will not power. might be an obvious statement but worth double checking.

well finally i am ready to get the turbo conversion underway.... i bought a 2nd hand engine from a scrappy yesturday. i heard it running just fine on tue, no rust build up or anything. it was a new 1.3 micra to the scrappies this week and only had a small knock to the back end, so well chuffed...

if you change the pistons you might as well change the rods at the same time...makes sense...no? imagine you change the pistons (very strong) but leave the stock rods (very weak under pressue)and they snap, your pistons could easily get damaged in the process, as well as you bank account! plus...

i wont comment on the weight till i put the rods together with the pistons. then i will weigh them, give a proper analysis lol. as far as the turbo i am trying to push for around the 200 mark so might eventually up the size and power of the turbo. for now lets just get the car turboed...what...

i dnt think anyone has gone ridiculously high boost on standard internals. if anyone is loaded on this site then run as much boost as you can with standard internals so we know wen the standard internals are going to break lol.......i am joking ha. at the mo i am only using a T25 OF A NISSAN...

now have the rods, not recived them as yet, but got a few pics of them comparing with the stock rods. what you guys recon.

awesome mate, very neat job. got any pics of the back? was it hard to install, all the kit? you buy it in UK?

if the box is completley goosed then i would recommend going to a local nissan repair shop (authorised dealer) and ask them whats the best thing to do, get some prices! then work out yourself from what they tell you and i bet you could have a go at it yourself.

not got any at present. but you have nippon, ebay is obviously ebay but the kit only appears from time to time. try a google for cosmic tuning or something. the last pic was from this site. also try the UK forums, for UK based shops that sell micra parts.
