As my gear lever doesn't centre I had great pleasure in reading a fix on this site; however after removing the central exhaust shield I was so disapointed to find the spring perfectly intact. Does anyone have any other ideas as to what can potentially cause this problem.

Took apart HT laeds to make use of a few of the components Then rebuilt them with new copper core cable Then split engine and gearbox So that the fly wheel can be removed for a little lightening Then refitted suspension after doing a bit of chopping

I have a 96 1.0l standard. Can I do much with this flywheel?

Does anyone have any before and after pictures for lightening a flywheel from a 1.0l K11. I am going to attempt to do this tomorrow and just want to see where everyone is reducing the weight from.

First post so best start the way I mean to carry on; I removed the engine from my car today along with a bout of DIY tuning (removed front Cat, changed HT leads, chopped springs, set gaps on Bosch Super 4 plugs ready for new engine to arrive et cetera) Engine and Gearbox out HT leads...
