Since this is a thread about manifolds, anyone just tried 4 straight pipes out from the exhaust to the side/back of the car? What'd the performance implications be over 4-2-1?

Tbh, I think using the vauxhall calibra manifold would be far easier and cheap than your other options...It costs far more to put together your own manifold or to buy a K11 manifold then change the thingo to fit the K10. He's right in some respects, probably not in others.

It sounds like a classic Memory issue. It's either corrupted memory (can happen from shock) or a loose connection. Long story short, it's broken. Make sure you've got no dents or what ever in it and send it off to microsoft. I don't think they put G-Force triggers in them.

Well, flame exhaust kits are illegal on the roads too but it's a show thing.

Get a TPTT switch and wire in 3 modes. On, Off and Chase! I believe maplin has an LED chase kit for around £7, could be possible to cannibalize it and go give that a shot. It'd be pretty cool to see the LEDs scroll inwards.

These are pretty much banger rallys, nothing major. Last years winner of the 1200cc class was a Nova, so I would've though It'd be in with a chance. :)

I know K10's have been used in (and have won) rallys before and considering there are several small rallys a year in this area...I was wondering what might be involved in turning your bog standard MA10 K10 into something fit for rally. First things that spring to mind is exhaust/inlet manifolds...

I live up in the Forest of Dean and I can remember off hand around 12 different k10's that live in this area. I've checked most of them out and I'd say 1/2 of them are under 60k miles. Infact there's a mint one a garage owner has that's done 30k miles and is in mint condition. Not a scratch or...
