I have to agree with John here. DAB, unless you're in a great reception area is a pain. Being digital radio, if you get a weak signal, it drops out altogether, whereas analogue FM radio just gets a bit hissy. A decent antenna (the longer one off the later Micras) and FM kicks DAB's arse. DAB...

That looks nothing like a Micra head unit console.. in fact, it looks nothing like a Qashqai one either.

Ignore above. The connect one can still be updated with 2019/20 SD Card. The reason I was confused is because it only lists the K13 micra, but the early k13s had the identical head unit as the K12, so no worries. I just thought I'd put this here for anyone else who needs to know. Thanks.

Have you tried the BMW game? It breaks up long motorway journeys :) Basically, whenever you see an Audi, BMW or Mercedes, note it's colour. Count the ones that are not black, white, silver or grey. It's a good game. Almost as good as "spot the green car". Green is a dying colour it...

My '03 Micra has been doing this (comedy starting noises) for 5 years... while annoying, seems to carry on regardless. It looks like an easy job to swap out the starter, but just could never be arsed.

Thanks for trying. I've pretty much decided that my next Micra is going to be a N-Tec any way. Kind of hard to argue with sat nav, cruise control, bluetooth and USB inputs for the head unit etc. as well as the same trip/fuel computer features as the others. I think the Acenta+ had the climate...

Re: The Sat Nav unit in the Micra N-Tec: Can this be updated still? Loads of SD cards for sale on Ebay but they rarely specify whether it is for K12 or not.

Am I correct in thinking that for a 2010 K12C, the only models available were Acenta, Visia and N-Tec?

They all whine. Mine whines in first... my mother has had two Micras, and they whine in first too. They also whine in second, but just not as noticeable. Can't help with teh throttle hang, sorry, but at least this has bumped your post so maybe someone can answer your question.

They used to be in this thread, but after trying to download again myself, they've gone. Maybe Nissan made them take them down?

My trusty old 2003 K12.. "Mighty Microbe" is dying. He's been a superb family friend, but alas, clutch issues, exhaust issues, and high mileage... and a slew of other non-vital faults are making it untenable to keep any longer :( Quite sad. He's been great. So... Basically, I don't like...

I have a '03 1.0E showing this code. Am I right in assuming it has 2 02 sensors? One before, and one after the cat? If so, can anyone confirm which sensor this code relates to so I can go straight to the sensor in question without testing both? ...or have I got this totally wrong? Thanks
