How do the K12 Micra side skirts attach? Do they just clip on somehow? On the underside of my sills there are what appear to be circular fastenings of some kind, and I'm assuming that's what they're for, but can't work out how they are used. is it easy? If so, I'll get some off Ebay and paint...

Sorry.... I knew there was a swear filter though :) It makes me angry though. The car was perfect otherwise, and I'm having a hard time finding the right car, with the right mileage, condition, and colour as it is without dealers ruining the only decent example I've seen for weeks!

@NickTheGeek - Have you considered subframe bushings? Not always obvious. Pain in the as to replace if it is that though, so I hope not.

I had one on mine too. RIght at the bottom... where it seats into the shock. Definitely a Micra thing. Fortunately, it's not as they snap in the middle and collapse your suspension while driving or anything... but mine did sit about a half inch lower when it failed.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but as I've been looking to replace my Micra, I've been looking at a lot of them, and looking at MOT histories on all of them. Broken front coil springs is VERY common on K12s it would seem. Around 70% of the ones I have looked at, have failed for this at...

It's not because I can't park. I just think it would be cool as a little project... and add a feature to the car.

Here's a question... As the Nissan Juke with the connect1 system has a rear view camera, could this be fitted to a Micra N-Tec? It's the same unit isn't it?

Just swap it out. You can get a new starter motor off ebay for next to nothing. There are loads of used ones on there now for between 15 and 20 buy it now, and brand new ones for less than 50 buy it now.
