Up date! I've done 10,000 mile now, nearly owned her a year. She been brilliant, simply brilliant. Repairs have cost less than £150, mods less than £100 (wheels and induction kit and I chopped the springs) Not to everyone's taste I'm sure but here you go :grinning:

Me too, dont get me wrong.. What I usually do is a full tank and drive like a grandad and then fill up £15 and drive a little 'enthusiastically'. I have another car for fun times! It's is actually quite good fun eeking out the mileage and fuel saving.. I look at it as a challange.. or am I...

Impressive figures from all then! I was over the moon to see 400 miles from a tank.. which was £47 from memory. Considering my MR2 does about 150 miles from a tank (£50+ a fiill up) , I'm pretty happy with my Micra at the moment! I thought I'd share the joy! ha ha Ollie

340 miles from a full tank for me, £45 ish on the last fill up. I have a 1994 1.3 with an induction kit fitted... that is taking it easy though, if I fancy putting my foot down I take my Fiat Uno Turbo :grinning: Ollie

Behave! The Mk2 was designed for fat yanks (hence the 300 extra kilos and the 'GT' badge) Now.. a Mk1 with a Mk2 turbo engine, now thats where it's at :grinning:

It's like me an Mk1 Mr2s, I've lost count of how many Mk1 Mr2s I've had, although I haven't been without one for 5 years now.. with the Uno Turbos, I buy them, run them, sell them, regret it and then buy another, on my 4th now which is getting MOT'd next week! :grinning:

I'm new to Micras as well, was always a fan of the k10 super turbo but bought myself a K11 super s recently just to run around in.. I think there is so many micras around this forum will be busy for years to come. As old members move on, new members come on board but the genuine enthusiasts...

Ok I'm still stuck, off to the scrap yard tomorrow to find a 1.3 micra to take some bits off to hopefully fix mine.. Idling at 2200 rpm when sitting in traffic isn't fun !!
