here is my micra build. bought the car back in 2006 damaged hoping with the plan to put it on the road as my first car. but then started modifying and it still hasn't been on the road for longer than 6 months... any ideas as to how i would improve my car would be greatly appreciated.

might just be as simple as taking the car for a good thrash buddy :)

think it's certainly something to do with the clutch slipping. best bet would be to strip the gearbox etc down at a guess i would think it's the oil seal gone in the box. and the oil is stopping the clutch working corectly.

have you had a quote on a new one?? i'd rather take the option of buying new than second-hand as you can never be sure of the quality.. taking a guess i'm sure that an almera or a sunny one would fit.. aslong as it was from a cg engine

just wondering if anybody knows how wide the standard steelies will band before they scrub??

i have done the mesh modification and it works pretty well mine revs up more smoothly..

it would good if you could post the spec of all engine components etc if you could buddy

i suppose you could take off the air con belt to see what power is actually lost from the engine. i think the air con belt is not driving anything else. so you wouldn't lose any-other component. if that makes sense :)

think an induction kit vastly improves performance aswell as a decent backbox and possible removing a cat. :)
