Ive had two super s bumpers the first one fitted without a problem the second didn't fit properly i forced it to fit. maybe depends when they were made. the pedals look good allways wanted to do this but never got round to it.

i don't think its the timing chain. it might be something that is loose somewhere in the engine bay it will just rattle while the engine shakes on start-up, its very hard to pin point or find where exactly the noise will be coming from. brakes could be binding a bit.

yeah everyones having problem with it. ive made a comment in the new forum thread about the search function. you be better typing it in google and will find the relevent threads.

thanks polly it looks like the first one. is it ok to remove the springs? just use like long nose pliers and detach from two ends?

my clutch squeeks when pressing it down is the the spring after the pedal? greased it up but made it quiter but gone the same now. how easy is it to take off the spring?

have a read in polly's p blog. he had the same problem

cars been passed! got 12 months m.o.t on it now. did a oil change i put some castrol gtx 10*40w. (Y)

well done them seats look spot on. bet it feels more sporty and comfy now.

little update. had a m.o.t today and it failed on a few stuff. :( inner sill needed welding, ended up with two big holes :o was OK when i had a look before. play in the wishbone ball joint and bush had to put another wishbone on because the bushes seize and dont come off, also two brake pipes...

well done ferritt good to know its back on the road, paintwork looks clean you just got to sort a few minors out.

i had the same issue with the gaps its OK now think James sorted it out. have a look in your profile and see what it shows up on the default thread age cutt off? under thread display options under your profile or there could be a bug with it. new forum layout think you don't have a choice on...
