Hi Runel The reverse light switch is on the transmission next to the gearbox black end cover. Whatever you do don't take gearbox cover off. It is behind the end cover bottom right. Might be bit tricky to get out, jack the car might help securing on axle stands. There might also be a cable tie...

Hi Drake92, Try get a diagnostic scan on it could be maf sensor air fuel mix not rich enough. Or other sensors, if you have warranty bring it back I know I would after spending 400 . You could try taking of pinnacle and looking at the connections making sure there tight no shorts.

Hi Licklemic Have you checked the alternator? Do you hear a clicking sound from the starter motor when turning it over?

Great news . Im not sure myself about bad earths but alot of people say bad earths can have a direct effect on idling and bad performance. Maybe the earth to the alternator was corroded abit and the electricity produced by the alternator wasnt getting the full juice and affecting the performance...
