seriously, check what i said mine was buzzing with the sidelights on with the door shut also the headlight warning light came on on the dash. the way i got it to stop before i replaced the part was just gave it a little wiggle it would be ok for a few days then come loose again.

mine made the same noise because the part that connects onto the h4 bulb was melted. double check that

as well as changing my gear box oil im going to change the engine oil and put a new oil filter in. i found these two on euro car parts and was wondering if they were any good and out of the two what one should i go for...

i ordered my gear box oil should be here friday. im not going to empty the old #### out as most of it came out when changed the cv joint (taking drive shaft out the gear box it went every where) so just going to top it up and it should be fine. cheers for your help martin mate

thanks for the help guys screwed in the earth and all was well. i think it helps to have the aerial in as well not sure if it makes a difference but worth trying to anyone who has had trouble.

ok i think mines the old type but if there is a refil plug where on the side is it as i cant see it but can deff see the speedo drive cable and where i need to go if thats the option i have.

hmm would it need to be connected for the stereo to work? if so where ?

DizzySpell you see in the bottom picture you have there. there is a wire with that small round hoop. what is it for? i cant see what i need to connect it to and my stereo isnt work so maybe thats the cause, either that or maybe the fuse.

silly question but how much oil does it take to fill it up? would a 1 litre bottle of 10w40 be enough?

you got a link for the oil you got mate as theres a few on there (online that is not sure if there is a eurocarparts store :S )

so to get the handle off you have to go from the inside and its an easy job? as i need to swap one of mine with my old micra as the "new" micra has a cracked one.
