the starter motor appears to be moving when the key is turned? Also, as i say the car was started and moving so i dont see how it could be the starter motor as id assume this would be obsolete once the car is moving and the engine is firing?

No it wont start now after conking out on a dual carriageway. I will double check fuses tomorrow. Its a different kind of sound to when the battery has died its more of a whirring sound

Hi Was going along an a road doing 55/60 car just cut out and died. Wont start now, it wont turn over properly. It literally sounds like only half the engine is working. Its not trying to fire. You can hear the starter motor turning but its not doing much else. Ive checked caps and leads etc...

it would appear the casing around the bulb has melted and expanded. i had to crack the bulb to get it out, then i heated up the white ring with a lighter and popped the new bulb back through before it cooled and went hard again...i would imagine ill be doing the same thing if it it goes again!

ok, perhaps the seal has gone on the lamp fitting. thank you!

they arent. they are just standard bulbs but not cheapie ones...is it likely to be the fuse, or possibly bad wiring?

hi i have to change the bulb in my passenger side break light because it goes literally once a month...what could be the issue? anyone else had this problem? **should read brake light not break! my morning caffeine hasnt kicked in yet at work!

If you use a 1.3 engine with 1.0 clutch and flywheel? ...im sure i saw this mentioned somewhere

Will 1.3 engine inside a 1.0 run faster than a stock 1.3 then

Sweet...thats not bad for a little car and im sure with a few tweeks it couls get closer to 10 seconds quite easily
