I think the alternator is the same as the one fitted to the uk Cherry (n12) but don't quote me on that, the best thing to do might be go to your local breakers with your be1 alt and see what nissan alts look similar!

Not changing the oil regually doesn't help as it loses its lubrication properties, 15k seems a very long interval, i aim to change the oil every 5k i think nissan recomend 7

the price of scrap metal is currently high, most scrap yards will collect the cars and give you some money for it...

Are you talking about the piece that goes on the rear screen? Mine recently started to come of, so i pulled it off altogether, it hasent let any water in yet. As for the side windows aparently you can put the trim in hot water a stretch them back to shape, i've never tried it though :D

I say ditch the wheel trims altogether, definatly don't go for the ebay ones they look well shonky.

Nexia+red top=fantastic idea, if it were mine i would fit a standard interior and steering wheel, black steelies and mismatched wheel trims, roof bars and National trust stickers etc OAP styley Then go frighten boy racers in Saxos (and Mcras) :D :D :D :D
