daft question, will be the power cable be fine in the engine bay? it wont melt will it?

so i was driving this morning and the driver side brake was grinding like mad then there was no presure to the brake pedal. i pumped the brake and its working fine now without any sound (except for when im braking hard) also the presure in the brake pedal isnt as strong as it used to be either =\

ive always been told that you should have the power and remote runing down the oposite sides of the car to stop interference but i cant remember what cable runs down which side if you know what i mean =s what do you mean by "and the same for the remote and power cables. It isn't safe to bridge...

i try to use the brake as less as possible, i like to keep the car rolling and try not to stop.

will this be suitable for a sub and amp? or should i change it? also what side should i have the power cable? i know one side should be power and the other is the signal but i cant remember which =s

cars supposed to have passed MOT two months ago =\ thanks, i tried a 10 then a 13mm lol. ill buy a 12mm socket tomorrow

just checked the brakes there and the disc is completely scraped its now "grooved" lol. what size spanner do i need to take apart the caliper to check the pads? ive narrowed it down to either 11 or 12 mm

came home from work, check the wheel and its not even warm or hot. how do i go about checking the pads?

mmm not too sure how to take the pads off to check. yeah wheel is warm enough after a drive, its on 13" steelies btw. ive took the wheel off and inspected everything the other day it all looked fine. turned the hub and thats when i heard the scraping, so im assuming its the brake caliper but...

i think my front driver side brake caliper is seized. scrapes when im going slow but only when the wheel turns a certain amount then you will hear it long scrapes with a pause inbetween, faster i go the scraping is short but more frequent. i think the brake caliper has seized, does that...

cheers for the advice, think itll be a diy job and a poor one at that lol. itll be cheaper to buy 2 6x9s than to have two high quality door speakers would it not?

yeah should be able to use the exsiting wires as long as theyre actually there lol. aftermarket 6x9s dont need extra power or anything, i used them on my civic with its existing wires and it worked fine.

ah right cheers, so that means theres wires already ran through to the head unit.

after i a quick drive, ive notice the steering is heavy as anything. so i took a quick look under the bonnet and i think there is no power steering. but is the steering still suppose to be so heavy when driving? ive been told that when the cars moving its easy to steer but im still finding...

ive notice these dont have rear speakers at all =\ is there a guide on how to wire up extra rear speakers? will there be wires there already and i just have to extend them round? will i have to splice wires in or buy a wire harness that provides extra wires for rear speakers? thanks...
