hi i have just finished doing mine, i used a 68mm but it was slightly to small so cut into it slightly like criss cross just upto the bit where the pipe would normally stops, and then it pushes over and then use one of those screw clap thingys (forgot its name) and it works a treat...

hey i (well my mechanic) has just installed a 12' 750w sub and 425w amp and my mechanic had to change the battery cos my headunit and battery wouldn't power everything so my guess would be the battery. i have a jvc headunit with 50w x4 same as yours. hope this helps
