they are good, seeing as i fitted one into my dads car it has usb and SD cant realy tell if there is any deteriation in the sound, i dont think there is. if your on a tight budget then they are brill but if you just dont want to throw money at a sterio you realy should if you like...

the black and orange wire leading into the back is power on from ignition and the one leading into the side is from the lights on the dash so that the lighter iluminates at night :P hope that helps oh and black is ground (neutral) jackassuk

yea that should help cos thats an adapter from nissan connector to iso connector (the connector that came with new sterio) +12 is the perm on power it saves radio info and such just plug the yellow part into the adapter (will only fit 1 part) then connect the other end to iso connector...

well i can tell you that that isnt the wiring for a default headunit. either that or someone has fixed a problem before. i do not know how to wire in the headuint wire by wire but im sure someone can help who has a micra to hand . i think the wires in the yellow connector are the power...

if it is a aftermarket cd player then there should be a cage around the cd player this needs to be installed and the old one needs to be removed. when you are fitting it make sure that the cage has a good contact with somthing on the metal work of the car as some cd players need to get ground...

just a thought im not all that on engines check the fuel filter to make sure its not full of crap and that the injectors arent blocked. jackassuk
