Great so that's the best way to get the gear oil . My mechanic well so called mechanic Was trying to get oil back in through level plug by a crafty feed tank and it was,a good ltr left out that was not put in ..!!! He took shaft out to count the splines so I can order correct shaft..which...

Hi All Does the gear box oil have to be drained when your changing the whole drive shaft..? And is it a pain getting oil back into gearbox? Last question How much oil does it take ..?

Right so is this the correct shaft will I have to take it off to count the splines to order the correct one ?
