hey i have just found a lode of rust in my sill and around my wheel arch i was wondering how i would get rid of it i did think cut it out but then how to cover it again?

i just got k10 and it said it had it done at 64,000 miles it is now 81,000 but i dont no the time of the replacment and was wondering if it would perrish over time and if so any idear of time thanks anybody
