There is still white noise, no whine. Cheef, Can we try that later? I have a switch here to use. I'm just wondering if it's my HU. This means we can get rid of another suspect :) (2 way switch (on and off) i presume is ok? and you just wire the remote back on itself?)

Power readings: (engine not running) 12.30v - Batt 12.28v - AMP AMP / HU ON 12.23v - BATT 12.21v - AMP It was steadily going down about .01v a second. There are 2 problems, One being white noise, one being alternator whine as Olly said. Alternator noise stops if the RCA are unplugged...

How do they work out your passengers? Because if you have to stop and get "checked" it could take longer :p

I have just moved the earth for everything, Including HU. So it's not the earths. I've just tried to earth the RCA's and it's not them, (though i need some higher quality ones as these are rubbish and i want matching pairs :) ) So, The only thing it could be is the amp :( I need someone...

Ok, Need to find someone local with an amp :( The alternator whine is DEFINATELY from the RCA's though, as it doesn't do it if they are unplugged :s

Maybe not from the 600, But from the more powerful bikes :P The bike is still limited, More likely then just below it's top speed.

I have a wire running down the side of the two RCA's, I'll try it. I don't think the hissing is down to the RCA due to it hissing if NO RCA is plugged in. Could it be because im using house speaker wire instead of car specific stuff? :(

The 170MPH is a courtesy limit imposed by the manufacturer. If this limiter is removed, think 200+ :)

Central ground wire? The one running down the middle? And the HU is earthed..
