i believe (although not certain) that nismo engine mounts are available that make the engine sit lower in the bay.

I know it sounds silly but bonnet raisers could give you that added clearance i guess??

Thanks for the replies, no induction parts were removed and it isnt an air leak. I was thinking a timing issue but all ive done is remove the dizzy, remove the tape blanking the little square, and then replace the dizzy. I didnt think timing could have messed with just by doing this?? thanks...

Have you tried soaking them in something like wd40 phil?? just to penetrate it? They do have two other mounting points at the front of the light so if in the worst case u had to break the bolt off u could always mount them without the rear bolts(Y).

Hi darlo, it really does depend on how much rust/rot the sill has. The usual spot for the sills to go is infront of the rear wheels. Plates can be welded ontop of the old sills and the rust cut back by most garages i would say. I welded mine up myslef and there still going strong. Like i said it...
