Should this spring that Ive marked on the image be inside of the Dizzy cap when its removed, it wasnt when I took it off but could see a spring pushed into the ignition coil tower, so Im wondering if this makes the connection to complete the circuit....

We have had a 1.3 that did the same...just got a 1.0 as the 1.3 is now for spares ( rear wheel arches gone) and the 1.0 does the same..only got it today and was amazed at the poke in the little thing..I know what you mean...waiting for it to kick up a gear...its just fine.. Steve.
