Cheers Andy. The problem showed it self today. As i pulled out of a junction, was another bang and a clunk, and a piece of the spring fell out! So thankfully found a mechanic who can fit me 2 new springs tomorrow. Was going to get it lowered but ill wait till i can afford the proper kit :)

Wheel bearing from sound of it bud. I also removed my heat shield and not had a rattle since. Big long flat head screw driver and a rubber hammer will do the trick :) As for the door, that's not a bad price. I was quoted nearly £500 to sort a crappy previous repair out.

Hey all, the age old question! I need to lower my car but not long ago I replaced the shocks. Is it better for me to just replace the old springs with a decent set or get a complete kit? Any recommendations on a nice k12 set up?

Hey all, wifes just borrowed my car and said she will put some fuel in it. She's only gone and put BP Ultimate in it. Will this affect the engine or be a good thing?
