I was aware there is an emergancy key access on the passenger door. If you look at the handle there is a cover where you can pop off and the key is behind that to gain access!! Jason

I was under the impression that a Airbag can be safely removed and refitted without a problem. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - first disconnect battery and wait for approx 15 minutes before touching the airbag. As you wont have a metal box that is screwed to the floor for the storage of the airbag...

could say that - the technology behind it is amazing - trust me! rik - Is your french connection about Renault.

In my professional opinion - the K12 is a fanstasic small car (not a car I would have - don't like the headlights) and full of technology. The car was made 2 - 3 years before it's time (for it's cost). If people knew the technology most people would be amazed. jase Hobby!

the rack is made in wales & the cockpit (dash) is made in durham - thats all I know.

the EPS talks to the ABS over the CAN communications and it talks and receives messages from the BCM. apart from that no. but due to the CAN comms all ECU are connected anyway!!!

EPS - or EPAS Electric Power Assisted Steering.

no - just interested what peoples opinion is about the steering. If there was a problem I'm sure Nissan will do more then put a message on a public forum. I think the steering is very responsive and a very good system

Sonic It's abit difficult to say anything cos this is not official, I could get in to trouble. I'm not trying to put people un-easy, just trying to find as much information about the EPAS system on the Micra.
