To a full tank i get 300+ eaven if i treat her mean a few times.... current tank is at 330 and still going.
worked it out to 47.8 the other week but its improved since:wow:
the tester must have done the test blindfolded to not see holes in the floor and crossmember, not eaven a tester and i know they are common places on the K11, if the sills were totally covered then the tester would not have seen them though:suspect:
hmmm you know what i have had it with cambelts LMAO managed to cut my arm open doing a belt and waterpump on a rover k series today (damn siezed engine mount bolts)..... if i am quiet at work tomorrow i will try and sweet talk my boss, we only fit goodyear or gates so should do the job
I heard that they can damage the pistons too by crimping the rings?
dunno if this is right or not but i am getting nervous as i think mine is still on its origional belt:suspect:
I think you have missed a few 0's there mate thay have been making VTEC since the mid 70's(Y)
right on the no reported failure's of the VTEC system though :D
not after them but i think they are capacitors, also known as bass blockers.
they make sure that the tweeter only gets the high frequency signals that it needs, none of the lower stuff that a tweeter simply can't cope with.
''wow i am sure the CTR's vtec doesnt shoot up like that, thats pretty dramatic! haha what car is that??''
from the clocks i would say its that shape civic VTI
very nice cars and quick as standard
I vote civic but i am biased (did my apprenticeship with honda uk)
only other thing it is likly to be is the switch on the gearbox, have a look and you will see a 2 pin wireing plug on the gearbox.
thats it but i dont know if its on the front or back of the box on a K11
discs and pads are not that expensive to buy new and easy to fit yourself, a local car parts shop like bullseye or eaven (dare i say it..... halfords)
These are pretty important to the car so i would not buy them 2nd hand.
although for the pads i would avoid alco and trupart.... had...
I like the dials lighting up blue.... it that difficult to do on these?
also have use of a random-orbital air sander at work....... could be handy for the smooooth look:grinning:
