Okay so I have a 2001 Coilpack with power steering. When the car is sat idling with no electrical load it will idle with no problems. When I load the alternator by switching on the lights, wipers, hazards, radio etc then it starts shuddering every other 'cycle' when it idles. It feels like...

In a sense. I didn't remove it and do it that way, I just degreased, roughed it up with some fine sandpaper, washed it, masked it all off and sprayed it.

The only difference is that mine is freshly serviced and hers isn't, and that hers has eleccy windows and no power steering and I have power steering and no eleccy windows Any way to test for a dodgy coil? Would it make a difference if they'd been fractured too?

Sorry to hijack but I was wondering whether the seats from any other nissans are a straight bolt in? If they are then that may be an option for you too.

Ahh good, thankyou. I suppose I do run that risk but It'd probably be worth measuring how much comes out. I'll have to pour it all into bottles to take to the tip anyway so I'll measure how much comes out and replace the same amount. I just don't want to risk underfilling it really.
