If you pull the fuel pump fuse and then run the engine until it dies, it'll remove the pressure from your fuel system and stop you losing fuel everywhere.

Well for anyone interested, "Wheel Grease Caps" seem to be the most common term for them. If no-one knows the size I'll knock one off the rear tomorrow, measure it and report back.
