Haha you guys going back and forth :D Erm haven't really had a good look but it looks like its using the old rubbers and just that nut on the top? I may be wrong, is there another way its meant to be mounted? I'm guessing its the same way the stock suspension unit was held there?

Well thats what the engineers told me :confused: I need to check the paper work and see if it says what units it is. And how could I fix the squeaky noise from the rear, just worried it might be damaging something

Sorry to be a pain guys... I had a misunderstanding with the units on the springs, I overheard they were measured in lbs which I was lead to believe but in-fact I now believe they are measured in N/m meaning that each spring is around 752 lbs/ft. So I'm guessing those helper springs will be...

Welcome to the forum Steve ;) Any pictures of you k10? Then we can see the progression. If your going to do suspension and want to go low don't waste your money on lowering spring, and I've never chopped springs so no idea what they are like. Might as well as your pennies and go for the polo 6n...

o_O fair enough... I was talking about (I think) the pre-face lift grill? The version with the bars, normally black. Am I talking about the right thing?

Been thinking about the 85-92 grill, does anyone know if it will fit with the front lights I have at the moment or do I need to change them to the boxer version?
