could be a shocker letting the wheel flop , the wheel will do a very fast shimer up and down with the slightest bump . get someone to follow and watch the wheels ..

thats handy to know , can I just fit a new MAF , or does it need calibrating ?

update .. double fault , just found the engine check light is bust as well , so now I have a disconncted AMF and a glowing check light !!! so the car has been in limp home mode since I bought it !!!!!

Hi Anyone know what the upper connector on the t/b does , mine was not connected ???? but it appears to be the air mass meter just plugged it back on .and the engine would not run ??? the car runs fine without it connected . so I had a look my older micra and it had a t/b with a metal...

how do I get the radio to accept the pin code ... it displays "secure" on the screen .. I thought the trick was to switch on the raio and leave the radio switched on untill it displayed "code" but it does not want to after a few hours of waiting .. am I missing something ??? it is a Blaupunkt...

check the earthing points and the heavy earth leads to the engine , they can snap or corrode . this can cause that type of starting problem , and the other issues may be a result of a poor earth .

a starter motor has 2 sets of coils in the solenoid . both are powered by the starting key . and one is earthed via the starter motor . once the starter is spinning the motor no longer earths the 2nd coil and the contacts are held by the starting key , I had this problem on a fiat , turned...
