Just asked him again and got a reply. He did cut the lip. And thinking about it, its not much of a problem really just need to keep the bonnet cool when cutting it so that the paint doesn't flake. And if you fo cut it, it makes fo ding rubber trim a lot easier

Yep, and probably only in Japan. There are other people who have done single grill conversions to facelifts but they have filled and painted rather than using rubber trim... Although I don't want to fill and paint...

But I'm having sort of the same problem as you, I understand that some sort of door protector can be use but I don't know whether (when I come to do it) I need to grind down the 90° lip around the double grills or not, I'm not sure if that sort of door trim will fit over it or not

Has anyone put a cherrybomb on their Micra k11? Do they just fit right on with a clamp or do you need to change stuff over? Does the original muffler come off easily or will it be a sawing jobby? Cherrybombs really appeal to me because I can get hold of a new one for £45 and they look great so...

Waiting for my numberplate lights and going to order some plates soon.

Just spent a bit of time taking off the rear plate and boot handle and cleaning and polishing up that part of the paintwork.

And that's the other side done, I'm glad that horrible job is over. Unfortunately on this side, a line has been left :( Next, I have ordered my number plate lights so I'm going to start my JDM style tailgate. I had also given up looking for a wing of matching colour do I decided to sticker bomb...
