How do you open the boot if there is no lock???????

Okay, this is going to sound very vague but I found a picture of one of these wings a few weeks ago. I think it was possibly white or silver but I can't find the picture anywhere now. Basically, the owner had adjusted it so that it had more of an angle. It looked pretty cool and I want to do it...

Right, that's one side done. *Wipes forehead and cries a little bit* altogether it probably took around 4 hours but its BLOODY BORING, so I spread it over a few days and around my exam revision. I'm relieved that its done now, now I have the joy of doing it all over again on the left side :confused:

By he way, this stuff really helps when debumpstripping, obviously there is petrol, nail polish remover etc but this really does work! I got it from Halfords (please don't yell at me)

I took the mud guards off and I've debadged. Starting to take the bump strips off too, its going to take a while but its worth it, luckily the paint is all good underneath!

Thorough jet wash, polish, service and set of wheel trims for the time being from the breakers, she looks as good as new (bar the hundreds of dents!).

I know that but what sort of black rubber has been put around the outside of it? Also, do you need to grind away the 90° edge?

That's very true, and maybe the square number plate might cover them. I'll have a look at it all soon, any idea on lamps that would look similar to the JDM ones?

They're in the recess with this type of boot handle?! I'm surprised this is the type I have. Ah well, maybe they won't look so bad even if I don't fill them

So, will it leave holes like I have drawn in red? If so I probably don't do the JDM boot look as I don't want to start filling and spraying...or, is there a way I can fill the holes with out using filler and respraying etc? Rubber plugs or something or will that look terrible?

If I take the boot handle off (I have one of the big facelift ones) will it leave holes outside the indentation where the number plate goes? I'll try and draw it

Anyone know about this single grill?
